Where it started
Some of our best memories are the simplest ones: standing in the yard as kids, watching strand after strand go up, that first moment the whole house lit up at once. Griswold-level lighting, string by string, purely for the joy of it. That feeling never really left us.
What we didn't love: the boxes of tangled strands every November, the burnt-out bulbs you don't find until the whole line goes dark, and the ladder trips just to turn the lights on and off. We loved Christmas lights. We hated untangling them.
